A Need from our Quilters…
Our quilting group is in need
of thread and cotton fabric. The fabric can be a blend of cotton and polyester.
We cannot use knit or stretch materials. Contact Judy Voigt at

WE LOVE A PARADE, DO
YOU? If
your answer is yes, please join the FELC Youth
group on Labor Day as we serve popcorn and other goodies to hungry parade-goers.
We will gather at 1:30 at church on Monday, Sept. 6 to set up tents in the
parking lot and begin popping The Oberbeck and Kneiss families’ almost
world famous popcorn! Last year’s event was extremely successful and presented a
wonderful opportunity to meet many of our “neighbors.” If you have questions
please contact Lori Brandt @ 675-6773. We hope to see you
there!

Please read the letter sent by
the Stewardship Committee that was sent to your homes this past week. Prayfully consider your financial situation and how you

Lord’s Treasury Box or mail it to the church. Additional pink Handicapped Accessibility Project envelopes are in

School Kits
It’s that time of year again to
take advantage of the “back to school” sales! Please help
us fill
school kits for Lutheran World Relief. Items needed are:
A box for your donations will
be placed in the narthex. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated.

Layettes
Charity Circle will again
collect baby items to create kits for Lutheran World Relief. Items can be new or
gently-used, but should be clean and in good condition. Items needed
