FAIR STAND WORKERS APPRECIATION DINNER

this Tuesday, August 24: 6:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.

This dinner is for all workers who helped at the Fair Stand in any way

and your family. Come…and let’s celebrate another great year!

NEXT SUNDAY…

Our special musical guests will be “3 - 4 - 1”, a Women’s Gospel Trio. They are from the Wausau area and enjoy sharing their faith through music. A freewill offering will be received for them.

A RECEPTION…

to bid farewell and Godspeed to Pastor Sarah Nehring will be held next Sunday,

August 29, following the worship service. We thank God for sending Pastor Sarah to us during this transition time!

Join us in Fellowship Hall for cake, coffee, and best wishes for Pastor Sarah!

A Need from our Quilters…

Our quilting group is in need of thread and cotton fabric. The fabric can be a blend of cotton and polyester. We cannot use knit or stretch materials. Contact Judy Voigt at 715-848-1272.

WE LOVE A PARADE, DO YOU? If your answer is yes, please  join the FELC Youth group on Labor Day as we serve popcorn and other goodies to hungry parade-goers. We will gather at 1:30 at church on Monday, Sept. 6 to set up tents in the parking lot and begin popping The Oberbeck and Kneiss  families’ almost world famous popcorn! Last year’s event was extremely successful and presented a wonderful opportunity to meet many of our “neighbors.” If you have questions please contact Lori Brandt @ 675-6773. We hope to see you there!

Our new cookbooks are available…

are available during the week in the church office. Cost: $15.00. Enjoy the book for

yourself  - plus they make wonderful gifts!

Please read the letter sent by the Stewardship Committee that was sent to your homes this past week. Prayfully consider your financial situation and how you might be called to further invest in our mission at First Complete the pledge card and return it to the church by next Sunday, August 29 and place it in the Lord’s Treasury Box or mail it to the church. Additional pink Handicapped Accessibility Project envelopes are in the pews for your gifts which can be given at any time. Thank you everyone for your gifts and support of the Accessibility Project.
